Avular at Congress on Autonomous Systems

Avular was proud to attend the first-ever National Congress on Autonomous Systems, held at Schouwburg De Lawei in Drachten. The event brought together over 400 experts, companies, researchers and policymakers to explore the future of autonomous technology in the Netherlands, marking an important milestone for the autonomy ecosystem.

A Hub of Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration

The congress featured three parallel presentation lanes—Science, Business and Society—each offering a unique viewpoint on advancements in autonomous systems. Leaders from organizations such as Boston Dynamics, Lely and HighTechXL joined forces with researchers and policymakers to exchange ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and discuss the ethical, societal and regulatory aspects of autonomous technology.

Albert Maas Shares Avular’s Vision in the Business Track

Avular CEO Albert Maas took the stage during the morning program as part of the Business track. He shared insights into how mobile robotics can help solve today’s most pressing industrial and societal challenges, and emphasized the importance of modular and accessible technology to accelerate innovation.

Avular also took part in the demonstration square, where we presented live demonstrations of our autonomous platforms: Vertex One, our modular drone system, and Origin One, our modular mobile robot platform. These demos gave attendees a first-hand look at how Avular technology operates in practice, highlighting the real-world capabilities of our robotics solutions.

The energy, knowledge and innovation on display underscored the Netherlands’ growing role as a hub for autonomous technology.

Looking Ahead

We thank the organizers for hosting such a high-caliber event and for bringing together the many disciplines shaping the future of autonomy. Avular is enthusiastic about the momentum generated at this first edition and looks forward to contributing to the next edition.
