We’re looking for an electronics engineer to join the Avular Team!
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced electronics engineer to help us build the team as we continue to expand our robotic product portfolio. You will design and analyze electrical systems (e.g. PCBA's, cable harnesses and larger electronic components), test and evaluate prototypes, create test tooling for production, provide technical support and ensure that products meet our quality and safety standards.
We are a full integrating company and design our PCBs in-house, from first architecture to final product validation. As electronics engineer, you must have experience in bringing electrical systems from a concept to a certified production-ready product. Furthermore, you need to have a basic level of understanding in the mechanical design principles and low level firmware writing to actively collaborate with the team and bridge the gap between software and hardware.
YOUR MISSION
Designing versatile electrotechnical circuits, including mixed signal MCU board, High power (battery) systems, High speed (USB3/PCIe) systems, motor drivers, GPS and other RF communication modules, etc.
Planning and executing tests together with your fellow engineers
Delivering design documents, such as validation plans and reports, design decision documents and design review documents
Conduct prototyping and design validation in electrical engineering laboratory
Preparation, planning and execution of certification activities
Overseeing production activities within Avular’s production or at partners including writing assembly manuals and technical product drawings.
Defining a work breakdown and effort estimation for the various electronics designs
WHO YOU ARE
A Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering
At least 4 years of professional electronics engineering work experience
Strong proficiency in ECAD program (Altium preferred) with multiple full design cycles
Exceptional attention to detail and precision
Self-organized
Experience with complex and high-speed circuit designs
Experience with high power batteries and Battery Management Systems
Familiarity with C/C++ and python for debugging purposes
Familiarity with mechanical design principles
Hands on experience with a board validation process
Extensive knowledge of writing technical documentation
Bonus points for experience with CE certification / design for EMC / SI analyses / PDN analyses / RF design / SPICE simulations
